Tūroa Ski Area
Tūroa Ski Area offers varied terrain and features both Australasia’s longest vertical descent and New Zealand’s highest lift, the six-seater High Noon Express.
The Alpine Meadow beginners’ area is adjacent to a tobogganing area for the kids, while 12 long, groomed intermediate runs suit the upper-level learners.

A huge range of black and black diamond tracks run alongside two spectacular lift-accessed backcountry areas, so big-mountain skiers will find an ever-changing range of natural terrain features to play on. Extensive on-mountain facilities include two excellent cafés.
