Snow Farm
Snow Farm is New Zealand’s premier cross-country ski area and only Nordic-style ski resort.
It regularly hosts overseas cross-country ski teams and offers over 50 kilometres of trails groomed to an international standard for classic and skate skiing. Whether you’re looking for casual family fun in the snow or a serious skiing adventure, Snow Farm has something to suit. Both private and group lessons are available at the field’s ski school, and there are trails and ski packages to suit all abilities and ages. Lessons, tubing, sledding and snowshoeing are available, or take a tour by snowmobile or even dog sled.

Breathtaking views are on offer all over the field, and accommodation for overnight trips is available in three backcountry huts accessed from the groomed trail system. Snow Farm Lodge, the on-snow accommodation option is closed until 2022.
